IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
September 16, 2006
This update consists
of
the latest Goat Working Group report to the NAIS
subcommittee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The
report is the result of 5 drafts which were submitted to the
working group members between August 16, 2006 and September
5, 2006. Originally, the report was agendized for the August
21st meeting of the NAIS subcommittee, but due to other
pressing business, no working group reports were heard at
that meeting.
It should be noted
that there was far from any unanimity among the Goat Working
Group members with respect to the contents of this report.
