Happy Summer National Convention Blast
Thank you, Ohio, for hosting our 50th Anniversary National Convention. It was wonderful
to visit with everyone there and get to know faces with names. Thank you to all the members and directors who give the upmost support to our great Pygmy Goat
Association and the Central Office. Thank you to our directors who volunteer their time to assist our membership. Congratulations to all our National Challenge winners and runners-up. Since moving to
the East Coast in 2024, this was our first EAST Coast Nationals to participate with our wethers in the East Coast challenge. It was exciting; my daughters long time wether won the National Champion Wether Title! Although we did not stay for the weekend, I want to congratulate a very deserved VOLUNTEER of the YEAR!! Penni Rogers, you do amazing things for NPGA! Your award is not enough thanks for all that you do for our Association.
There are updated registration fees and rush protocols effective 10-1-2026. Please review the new fee schedule that will be available on the website by September 1st under the header FORMS.
Reminder, please contact the Central Office directly during regular business hours when you have questions. There is misinformation posted on social media, and I spend time talking to members and non-members who are confused by posts. Encourage our pygmy enthusiast to contact the office directly.

REMINDERS: SHOW CHAIR / JUDGES:
1. Report of Awards “ROA” will not record if submitted incomplete.
2. Show Chair and Judges need to know all the updated Show Rules and Regulations.
3. Judges double check that you have completed your portion of these forms, signed and dated your results.
4. Show chairs – I understand that it gets remarkably busy at the desk during shows, I am a show chair myself. But we are responsible for the completion of all ROA Forms before submission. Confirm all information is complete before completing the ROA process and giving the judge their copy.
REMINDER: EXHIBITORS/MEMBERS
1. Exhibitors are responsible for knowing SHOW RULES. These rules are on the website under header SHOWS.

2. MEMBERS – it is your responsibility to know the RULES & REGULATIONS. They are posted on the website under Header ABOUT.

REMINDERS: RUSH submissions
1. Exterior envelopes MUST be marked RUSH, or they can’t be pulled for priority processing. I cannot see the interior envelope when retrieving mail from the mailbox. This includes FedEx, UPS, all Exterior envelopes must be marked RUSH to expedited as a rush.
2. Do not send packages/envelopes to the Central Office requiring signature. We are rural and the postal person does not necessarily come to get a signature. Requiring a signature will delay your paperwork processing.
3. REMINDERS:
1. Registration Applications must have a photo attached as stated in 2 places on the Application for Registration. Please review Photo requirements to process your paperwork. These tutorials are available if you email the central office.
2. All paperwork must have payment submitted at the same time or prior arrangements, such as current credit card on file.
3. All Applications for registrations require signature. Please remember to sign the application.
4. Breeding Memos – please see clarification in the rules adopted by the Board of Directors at the June 2026 meeting in Ohio.
5. NEW FORMS/UPDATED FORMS – please use updated forms with current addresses and fees. All updated forms are on the website. The Central Office can send email forms if requested.
